Billing questions
What owners ask before they pay.
Is HamaraPG really free?
Yes. The Free plan covers 5 beds in 1 property with 1 staff login, with no card and no trial clock: floors, rooms and beds; tenants, bookings and KYC; team and roles; invoices, payments and deposits. It stays free for as long as you stay inside those limits.
What do the paid plans cost?
Standard is ₹15 per bed per month billed yearly, or ₹20 billed monthly. Pro is ₹20 yearly and ₹25 monthly. Premium is ₹40 yearly and ₹50 monthly. Every paid plan lifts the bed and property limits, and each one carries its own staff logins: Standard 2, Pro 3, Premium 5.
What is the difference between Standard, Pro and Premium?
Standard adds rate cards — hourly to monthly; expenses and recurring costs; electricity meters and splitting; enquiries and follow-ups; housekeeping checklists; staff roster and attendance. Pro adds landlords and lease deals; payables and payouts; vendors; asset register; complaints with SLA timers; mess menu; notices; P&L, ROI and operator margin; custom roles and audit log; digital agreements with OTP; resident portal logins; automatic dues reminders. Premium adds detailed reports and the CA pack; compliance register; document library; AI assistant; audit-log export; priority support. Each plan includes everything in the plan below it.
What if I manage more than one PG?
Free covers one property and one login — yours. Every paid plan allows unlimited properties, and each carries its own number of staff logins: Standard 2, Pro 3, Premium 5. That count includes you and anyone you have invited but who has not signed in yet; a member you have switched off does not count, and residents with portal logins are never counted as staff. Staff can be limited to specific properties — a warden sees only their building.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden. Paid features stay open for 14 days after a period ends, and moving to a smaller plan never removes a record you already created — a plan limit stops you adding more, it does not take away what is there.
